Naps and quiet time this afternoon. Elk burgers on the grill, craft beers to go along with them. Watching the Deadliest Catch marathon on Discovery channel.

Sounds like you could all use a rest since you have been on the go quite a lot. Is it pretty mountainous in Gunnison, or is Gunnison in a valley or what? What altitude are you at and have you noticed being at a different altitude than you are used to? Are the roads pretty "hairy" where you are at? (M&D)
Gunnison is on a steppe. Between the mountains and the desert. The terrain is mostly hilly, with large rock outcroppings. Just outside of town it gets more interesting as you head into the hills. We're at 7700', it hasn't bothered me too much, other than noticing that I won't be doing any jogging here. The roads are fine, just more incline to them.
