On the plane Saul wrote....

Right now the houses are dots. We are 34,952 feet high and traveling 486 miles per hour. The airport is a very busy place. Did you know that Andy the pronghorn antelope is on the tail? We are landing soon.

Breaking the kids into blogging early, eh? Works for me!

I have been on a few dozen flights, and still enjoy looking at clouds from above, thin freeways with trucks looking like they are slowly crawling even though they are really going 65 miles per hour. When flying, I especially like to find roads and places I know.

The planes themselves are so neat to look at up close. Airports are often very busy, indeed!

Andy really knows how to fly fast, eh? Just kidding. :-)

Speaking of recognizing roads, I think I know this aerial view, about ~10 miles W of the airport, I think. I have flown in and out of there several times, and recognized the view almost immediately.

Yes Andy sure flies fast, 499 mph was as high as I noted. I was thankful to get there in one piece it's been since '81 the last time I flew~
